WHERE WE ARE
The Fiemme Valley or the “Door of the Dolomites” lies in the northeast of the Trentino with a length of 35 km. The “natural” frame consist in nothing less than the Latemar Group and the Pale di San Martino, the mountain chain of the Lagorai and the Monte Corno.

HOW TO REACH US:
BY CAR:
Motorway A22, exit Egna/Ora, proceed on the state road nr. 48 “Dolomiti” (distances: 24 km to Cavalese, 36 km to Predazzo).
BY TRAIN:
The nearest railway stations are: Ora 24 km, Bolzano 42 km and Trento 60 km. Bus connections to Fiemme Valley from every station.
BY BUS:
Periodical connections with the most important Italian cities: Milan,
Brescia, , Cremona, Piacenza, Parma, Modena, Reggio Emilia, Bologna, Genoa, La Spezia, Padua, Venice, Treviso, Rimini, Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Livorno.
BY PLANE:
The nearest airports are: Bolzano 42 km, Verona 160 km, Innsbruck 180 km, Venice 220 km, Milan Malpensa 330 km.
ALPINE SKIING:
A wide choice of ski facilities with over 50 of the most advanced ski structures and 100 km of ski trails provided with artificial snow from December to April is expecting you. The Skipass Val di Fiemme Obereggen, which is a part of the Dolomitisuperski, enables you to access the ski trails of the Ski Centre Latemar, of the Adige Cermis, the Bellamonte-Alpe Lusia, Passo Lavazè-Oclini, Passo Rolle and free entrance to the public swimming pools and the rink.

 

SKI NORDIC:
The Fiemme Valley is the ideal place for cross country skiing: the centers in Passo Lavazè and Lake of Tesero, which both dispose of an artificial snow system, the ski runs in Bellamonte and at the deeper part of the valley that are linked with the Marcialonga trail, altogether offer 150 km of cross country runs.

SKI SCHOOLS:
5 ski schools and 100 ski teachers are at your disposal for group or private lessons in alpine skiing, cross country skiing, snowboard, carving and telemark.

TREKKING
The Lagorai, The Latemar, The Veneggia Valley, The Pale Group, The Rosengarten, The Lavazè, the Occlini and the Butterloch, 
… are the nearest hiking tracks, but the area of the Dolomites is huge, not giant. You need more than a lifetime to trek it in its entirety!

 

THE HUT AT THE LARCH
At the versants of the Cermis, a “heap of snow in a sea of sun”, the sister of Sergio, the owner of the Stua, leads a cute hut, where the offered mountain specialities, which are selected from exquisite and traditional aliments, are worth a hiking tour or pay you for the walk up to the Lake of Bombasel. The “lazybones” too get the pleasure of the Larch Polenta, thanks to the cableway from Cavalese.

ART EXHIBITIONS
“il metodo di una vera e lodevole imitazione”
Valentino Rovisi meets the great Tiepolo. About 50 masterpieces of the local painter meet Giambattista Tiepolo, the great Maestro from Venice, whose masterpieces are exposed here. Cavalese, Museo Pinacoteca della Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme.
